To kick-off our 15th anniversary celebrations, a handful of our Ballistic Artists strutted their stuff in women’s high-heeled shoes this past Friday for Walk A Mile In Her Shoes.
The event, organized by The Soroptimists of the Tricities, was an opportunity to get men involved in the conversation about gender equity and violence against women in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody. Men, women, and youth from our community, including our local RCMP officers and firefighters, participated in the mile long walk around Coquitlam Centre during their lunch break.
