British Columbia’s Provincial Health Officer was invited to christening the vessel with a ceremonial blessing and bottle smash on the bow of the newest offshore fisheries science vessel. CONTINUING OPERATIONS DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC
Seaspan Shipyards was able to complete the construction of the 63.4 meters CCGS John Cabot amid the COVID-19 pandemic with all protective measures in place. This is a testament of British Columbians zealous to protect their employee’s health while working to keep the economy going.
