Melissa Stander is an incredible and inspiring young adult who has Down Syndrome. She participates in DSRF’s Reading Communication Plus class, and is currently enrolled in Douglas College’s Early Childhood Education program. Melissa has faced many health challenges in the past, but that hasn’t stopped her from fulfilling her dreams. The video shows Melissa’s passion for learning that has been strengthened by DSRF’s ground-breaking programs.
