THE VIDEO TELLS THE STORY OF A WORRIED MOTHER WHO IS ADDRESSING HER CONCERNS ABOUT HER ELDERLY MOTHER’S HEALTH AND FUTURE CARE.
We created this video in order to put senior care issues on the forefront of the upcoming provincial election. It uses clean typography, an uplifting music bed, and easy to digest statistics to create a trustworthy and motivational tone. The video’s primary accent colours were also limited to blue and green in order to maintain consistency with the BCCPA brand.
OUR EMOTIONAL LIVE ACTION VIDEO CONTRIBUTED TO A SIGNIFICANT FUNDING INVESTMENT INCREASE IN SENIORS CARE FROM THE B.C. GOVERNMENT AND THE MINISTER OF HEALTH.
Highlights include $700 million for new investments in home and community care, $10 million to address the immediate need for the purchase of equipment such as wheelchairs and ceiling lifts for BCCPA members, and the hiring of over 1,500 new frontline staff including nurse practitioners, registered nurses, registered psychiatric nurses, and licensed practical nurses.

They are a non-profit society that have been serving independent continuing care providers for over 35 years. Established in 1977, their membership is comprised of over 265 residential care, assisted living, home care and commercial members across British Columbia.
