From our hearts to yours, our team at Ballistic Arts would like to thank all of you: our clients, community leaders, and team members for a fantastic 2022! We celebrated our 20th anniversary this year, and it was truly the best year on record in so many ways.
We have chosen to support charitable organizations that make a real difference in our lives, rather than gifting sweets and trinkets this season. Below you will find information on each of these wonderful organizations and the connection we have to each of them. Please consider supporting them as well if you can.
Happy Holidays to you and yours, and here’s to a healthy, happy, and thriving 2023!
Red Cross Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine
We’re so blessed to have Olga on our team. She’s one of our awesome Digital Marketing Account Managers. In late February of 2022, Olga, along with her son, fled their home in the Ukrainian capital Kviv hoping for a better, safer life. Through the Canada-Ukraine authorization for emergency travel (CUAET), Olga was able to move her family to Canada, and has been an integral member of Ballistic Arts ever since. She’s an amazing addition to the team, and is our in-house hero! Go Olga go!
Sadly for many others, the humanitarian crisis is very real. Right now, people in Ukraine urgently need winter relief items like stoves, fuel, and warm clothing to survive the winter as temperatures plummet. Generators are also needed to give power to vital infrastructures like hospitals and train stations. While many of us have donated during the beginning of the invasion, it is equally as important that we continue to provide humanitarian support. Ballistic Arts has chosen to do so this season and we hope that you will do the same.

Indspire for Indigenous Youth Education
As many of you have read, Ballistic Arts has embarked on a journey to transform our own relationship with Indigenous communities. As part of our new path, we have declared our commitment to being a supportive Ally.
Through Ted’s interview on Marketing News Canada with Indspire COO Cliff Fregin, we learn that Indspire is a national Indigenous registered charity that invests in the education of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people for the long term benefit of these individuals, their families and communities, and Canada. The organization’s track record is so inspiring that Ballistic Arts has made a donation to support their mission, and are currently exploring other ways of supporting their mission.

SHARE Family & Community Services
SHARE is a non-profit, independent, community-based organization providing leadership and programs in response to the social needs of the residents of the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore and Belcarra), New Westminster and adjacent communities. Being headquartered in Coquitlam, it has always been important to our leadership team at Ballistic Arts that we contribute locally in whatever capacity we are able to.
Even in our humble beginnings, it was important to us to shore up in-kind sponsorship resources in order to help brand their inaugural Just Desserts Gala, which has since transformed into the Imagine Gala.
Our most memorable fundraiser for SHARE to date is our Throw a PIE IN TED’S FACE to Raise Money for SHARE campaign. It was a lot of fun and to help our local organization raise funds during the lockdowns. (If you want to see Ted being continually pummelled in the face with pies, click the link above).
We’re grateful that we’re again in a place where we can contribute to SHARE this year.

Culver Palms Meals on Wheels
And finally, Ballistic Arts is grateful to be growing our client roster in Southern California, especially in Los Angeles. As such, we want to give back to our second local community. Based in Culver City, Culver Palms Meals on Wheels has been helping relieve homebound seniors of hunger and social isolation since 1974. We know that the holidays can be an especially lonely and challenging time for some of our seniors, and Ballistic Arts is grateful to learn about Culver Palms Meals on Wheels and support them during the holiday season.

Thank you all again for a magical year.
Wishing you and your loved ones a very special holiday season filled with love, laughter and joy! ~from the Ballistic Arts team!
