Ballistic Gives Back Food Drive BBQ

A few months ago, the Ballistic Arts Social Committee decided that they wanted to give back to the community by organizing a “do good” charity event. After a lot of hard work and dedication, the Ballistic Gives Back Food Drive BBQ was born. Our goal was to raise 120lbs of non-perishable food items, which is equivalent to 100 meals for people in need.

We are thrilled to announce that our clients, neighbours, friends, and staff members came together to donate $180.00 and over 350lbs of food to the SHARE Food Bank.

The SHARE Food Bank distributes 5,000 pounds of food to a minimum of 375 families in the Tri-Cities and adjacent communities every week. As the Food Bank is not government funded, it’s services are facilitated by many hard working volunteers and donations from our community. Last year, $47,000 was raised for the SHARE Food Bank through third-party events.
