The video production team at Ballistic Arts created an easy to understand video that encourages other professionals to adopt VCH's SBIRT system in their own departments.

Our short motion graphics video clearly communicates the SBIRT procedure in a fun and effective manner.

Because this video was also going to be used for staff training purposes, we used simplified graphics and concise text to make the video as comprehensive as possible. The colours that were used in the video were limited to blue, green, yellow and red to keep VCH’s corporate identity strong. In addition to a bright colour scheme and a friendly animation style, our video specialists decided to use an uplifting music bed to create an inspiring tone.

"Thanks for all your help with all of the projects!! I appreciated your patience, attention to detail and willingness to make modifications based on our feedback. Hopefully, we’ll get the opportunity to work together, again!" - Zahra Hussein, Injury Prevention Program Lead, Vancouver Coastal Health

Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) is a practice that is used by VCH that helps to identify and reduce alcohol and drug abuse.
