Type: Part-time Contract (~10–20 hrs/week to start)
Location: Remote (Vancouver-based preferred)

Overview
Ballistic Arts—a full-service digital marketing agency helping B2B organizations grow through smart creative, paid advertising, and data-driven strategy—is seeking an Internal Marketing Manager to lead and execute Ballistic Arts’ own marketing initiatives on a contract basis.
This role will help solve a long-standing challenge: as an agency, we’re exceptional at promoting our clients, but inconsistent at promoting ourselves. You’ll bring structure, momentum, and creative excellence to our internal marketing by aligning channels, improving execution, and ensuring our brand presence reflects our capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Execution & Coordination

  • Build and manage an internal marketing calendar across paidorganic, and email channels.
  • Coordinate campaigns that align Ballistic Arts’ adswebsitenewsletterblogssocial content, and cold email outreach.
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team to ensure consistency, timely delivery, and measurable impact.
  • Apply AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to accelerate content ideation, writing, and analysis.

2. Paid Media & Lead Generation

  • Audit and optimize existing Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Manage targeted ad campaigns with improved keyword alignment, creative testing, and landing page optimization.
  • Design, write, and refine WordPress landing pages that convert.
  • Manage and optimize Dripify and other LinkedIn or email outreach automations to improve cold lead performance.

3. Organic Growth & SEO

  • Oversee SEO strategy, including keyword research, content optimization, and site improvements.
  • Write or collaborate on blog content and case studies to drive inbound traffic and reinforce expertise.
  • Monitor search performance and recommend technical or on-page improvements to increase visibility.

4. Content & Copywriting

  • Craft aspirational copy that communicates Ballistic Arts’ brand story and vision with clarity and confidence.
  • Write and edit engaging marketing materials—emails, landing pages, ads, and thought-leadership posts.
  • Use a mix of human creativity and AI-assisted writing to deliver high-impact copy faster.

5. Email & Newsletter Marketing

  • Manage BA’s monthly newsletter, coordinating internal contributors and ensuring consistent delivery.
  • Optimize subject lines, layouts, and CTAs to increase engagement.
  • Track open rates, click-throughs, and conversions; recommend improvements based on results.

6. Social Media & Brand Presence

  • Maintain an active, professional presence on LinkedInFacebook, and YouTube.
  • Create and schedule content that highlights Ballistic Arts’ thought leadership and project success.
  • Coordinate with the team to repurpose internal initiatives and client wins into shareable assets.

7. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Regularly report on campaign performance, lead flow, and engagement metrics.
  • Identify high-impact, low-effort tactics to maintain a steady marketing rhythm even during busy client cycles.
  • Recommend tools, automations, and creative ideas to continually improve BA’s marketing ROI.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on marketing experience (agency or in-house).
  • Proficiency with Google AdsMeta AdsWordPress, and SEO tools.
  • Strong copywriting ability—capable of producing aspirational, persuasive, and brand-aligned messaging.
  • Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) for writing, ideation, and campaign optimization.
  • Familiarity with DripifyApollo, or similar outreach automation platforms.
  • Understanding of B2B lead generation, funnel strategy, and content-driven marketing.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Graphic design or video editing capabilities (Canva, Adobe Suite).
  • Experience with cold email tools (Instantly, MailerLite, HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with Looker StudioPipedrive, or HubSpot reporting.
  • Prior experience in a marketing agency environment.
